Family, neighbors and strangers alike referred to him as a beautiful child, always with a hint of confusion. With a bright future ahead, Christian wanted nothing more than to take his last breath. He believed that no one should have to go through life with so much adversity, yet, here he was.

Donovan attracted all the wrong attention and he wanted more. Attention was the one thing he lacked as the youngest of three brothers.  He could never live up to his brothers’ legacies, so he set out to create his own.

Far from the perception of others, if asked to describe herself, Miyah would say she was mediocre at best.  That’s how she saw herself in appearance and intelligence.  She would admit that she was great at blending in.  Sometimes she referred to this skill as disappearing.  She wished she could comfortably speak up for herself and others, but she always reserved shine for those around her. 

The Bullied, The Bully, and The Bystander explores how Christian, Donovan and Miyah were shaped by the events of their lives. The lives of these three teens dramatically intersect leaving each wishing for a different outcome.
